I was always told I was like a magnet dogs to my entire life. All I have known is a love for dogs. My grandparents aways had an Irish Setter when I was a kid and my grandfather actually still does. I use to pretend she was my dog too. My first dog came into my life in 1988. A Bichon Frise that won my parents over after years and years of my pestering. The deal was for me to take sole care of her and full responsiblilty of her training. Angel and I took Obedience classes in 1989 and I have not looked back. Angel turned into a wonder dog. She obtained her CD with ease. I began teaching obedience class at a very young age as a devoted kennel club member. Next was therapy work and then a CDX obedience title making Angel a top Bichon Frise in Canada for obedience in 1992. As time passed Angel became a beloved family pet that had to stay home while I ventured off to university.
All grown up, it was time for me to choose a breed and that is where the Rhodesian Ridgeback entered my life in 1995. Hudson is our first ridgeback who started us in all our success in the breed. He made us fall in love with Rhodesian Ridgebacks and we will treasure this breed forever!
